A sloppy throw-in by Dylan Browne in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Fabiano Furlan. Martin Bautista hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Karl Pilgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Andrejević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jenipapo SC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dylan Browne hit a great ball. Luiz Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Pena in the 41st minute of play. Jenipapo SC's Karl Pilgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. Karl Pilgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Aníbal Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. Sten Andrejević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Pilgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Luiz Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 58th minute of play. Alf Elg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Andrejević in the 76th minute of the match. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dean Harvey in the 77th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jenipapo SC's goalie and right to Nildo da Silveira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jenipapo SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Karl Pilgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Dionísio in the 89th minute of the match. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after ROSÁRIO SPORT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Pena took the corner. The corner led Jenipapo SC's Ricardinho Pena to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Corrêa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Dionísio in the 95th minute of play forced Jenipapo SC's goalkeeper Karl Pilgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
