The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Jurassic Monsters SA's Pedro Grandis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Ramalho. That made the score 5-0 after 39 minutes of play. Fluminense di Parma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Luiz Fabiano Lima scored to the left of an out of position Erik Ramalho, making the score, 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Paulo Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
