Baraja Española FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Cecilio Haimar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Douglas Debecker took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Cugat. Cipriano Cugat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Joop Hollandts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joop Hollandts kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Douglas Debecker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garry Bastin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Anthony Standaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthony Standaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Cugat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Baraja Española FC's Cipriano Cugat got control of the ball when Garry Bastin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Limburg United's zone, László Illés stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 40th minute, Limburg United's Joop Hollandts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Cugat. Cipriano Cugat yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 78th minute, Inocencio Rayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, Limburg United's Douglas Debecker made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Cugat was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Anthony Standaerts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cipriano Cugat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 92 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Debecker.
