After 7 minutes of play, Palermo's Rafael Hondo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcin Nigbor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcin Nigbor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Hondo in the 10th minute of the match. Marcin Nigbor was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Rafael Hondo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Hondo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Bernard Czarnecki lost his temper 14 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Radomir Lesiecki hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Latające Siekiery getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Napoleon Malewicki hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Julian Birila shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcin Nigbor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcin Nigbor was a little too slow when Rafael Hondo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-0. After some careless play in the FC Latające Siekiery defense, Jacinto Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcin Nigbor. The FC Latające Siekiery fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcin Nigbor should have stopped the shot. Rafael Hondo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Rafael Hondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Marcin Nigbor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 40 minutes, Olaf Bury managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Latające Siekiery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Bury was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes, Napoleon Malewicki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Latające Siekiery and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Napoleon Malewicki hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rafael Hondo made the kick off in the second half. When Julian Birila came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Birila couldn't finish the play. Marcin Nigbor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Waldemar Andrzejewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Latające Siekiery and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Waldemar Andrzejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jacinto Mino hit a great ball. Olaf Bury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcos Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Bury could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Marcos Esdras made a huge save. Marcos Esdras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Andrzejewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olaf Bury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 minutes of play FC Latające Siekiery's Waldemar Andrzejewski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd match minute, FC Latające Siekiery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Andrzejewski to maneuver through the defense. Palermo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
