The supporters of MKS Pogoń Szczecin booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garry Bastin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Walkowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Garry Bastin in the 34th minute. Joop Hollandts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafal Grajewski hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jason Jonckers during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Jason Jonckers got a free kick in the 40th minute. Witold Ciszewski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Joop Hollandts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Jason Jonckers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Roman Walkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 59 minutes into the game, Joop Hollandts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MKS Pogoń Szczecin the free kick. Joop Hollandts kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Jason Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Walkowski having to interfere. In the 66th minute of the match Limburg United got a corner. MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kieth De Hond ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roman Walkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Jonckers in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes MKS Pogoń Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kieth De Hond who took care of the corner kick. Olaf Dawiec tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Roman Walkowski. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-1 in the 71st minute. Joop Hollandts took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Walkowski. Roman Walkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. After some careless play in the MKS Pogoń Szczecin defense, Jason Jonckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Walkowski. The MKS Pogoń Szczecin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Walkowski should have stopped the shot. Limburg United's Garry Bastin got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Jonckers came free, but Roman Walkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jason Jonckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Walkowski having to interfere. Limburg United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
