Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Hondo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Arnaldo Gabino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LegionArgentina fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when LegionArgentina's Julián Álvarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 10 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Herrera came free, but Marcos Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, György Kósa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Esdras came out of the goal and György Kósa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saul Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo's Marcos Esdras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Gabino in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Palermo booed when LegionArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Hondo in the 23rd minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Donato Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palermo's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Osoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, LegionArgentina's Marcos Herrera got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Julian Birila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marcos Herrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Esdras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Palermo's Rafael Hondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saul Osoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes, Dionisio Oton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the LegionArgentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LegionArgentina booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Oton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Julián Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Esdras was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Julián Álvarez put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Esdras. An unexpectedly hard shot by György Kósa in the 43rd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcos Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Arnaldo Gabino hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LegionArgentina's zone, Donato Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saul Osoitz came out of the goal and Donato Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LegionArgentina made a substitution. Froilan Arnas replaced György Kósa.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julián Álvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Julián Álvarez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Esdras, 0-3. LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Hondo in the 55th minute of play. When Julian Birila fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Julian Birila a yellow card for diving instead. LegionArgentina's Arnaldo Gabino managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Javier Bazkoare in the 61 minute of the game. Arnaldo Gabino took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Esdras. Marcos Esdras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcos Esdras got control of the ball when Julián Álvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benjamin Gartzen got free with Marcos Esdras in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Arnas came free, but Marcos Esdras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Julián Álvarez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Esdras. Julián Álvarez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, LegionArgentina's Gaspar Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 80th minute. After 83rd play minutes Marcos Herrera shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Marcos Esdras and just under the crossbar into goal. With his leg Marcos Esdras managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when LegionArgentina's Julián Álvarez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julián Álvarez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Marcos Esdras skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Froilan Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Esdras having to interfere. If Rafael Hondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LegionArgentina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
