Cipriano Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 15 minutes, Emiliano Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baraja Española FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Donato Vachon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baraja Española FC the free kick. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Indalecio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Esdras made a huge save. In the 20th minute Donato Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Cugat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Indalecio in the 22nd minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Marcos Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Marcos Esdras got control of the ball when László Illés tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Mino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marcos Esdras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Indalecio in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Mino came free, but Cipriano Cugat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute László Illés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling László Illés in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Esdras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Indalecio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Hondo came free, but Cipriano Cugat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uriel Georgiev kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Emiliano Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Esdras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Indalecio's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 95 minutes, Lorenzo Ongile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the Baraja Española FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Ongile. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
