The audience thought a goal was coming when Jason Jonckers got free with Einar Jernberg in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hendrik Herremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Nyman in the 13th minute of play. Eric Nyman charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Nyman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joop Hollandts in the 16th minute of the match. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Hollandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg got control of the ball when Joop Hollandts tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Nyman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Limburg United's Hendrik Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliot Högman in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Limburg United's Jason Jonckers made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Jernberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hendrik Herremans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Nyman's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg got control of the ball when Jason Jonckers tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Joop Hollandts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Einar Jernberg. Hisingen IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joop Hollandts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Joop Hollandts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Einar Jernberg. The goal made the score 4-0. Jason Jonckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Nyman made a kick off. After some careless play in the Hisingen IK defense, Jason Jonckers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Einar Jernberg. The Hisingen IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Einar Jernberg should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Bastin in the 62nd minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Einar Jernberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Anthony Standaerts. But to his dismay, Anthony Standaerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Bertil Söderqwist hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jason Jonckers struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Einar Jernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Nyman got free with Hendrik Herremans in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Lucas Skarkman got a free kick in the 89th minute. Hendrik Herremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Nyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. If Viktor Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Limburg United had played much better football throughout.
