The crowd rose to their feet as LegionArgentina's Arnaldo Gabino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Einar Jernberg. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Hisingen IK from getting a goal against them. LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Vennerkvist in the 18th minute of play. György Kósa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Jernberg having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Herrera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Einar Jernberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Gabino got free with Einar Jernberg in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Gartzen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Einar Jernberg made a huge save. A collision led to Hisingen IK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lucas Skarkman hit a great ball. Saul Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Nyman in the 36th minute of play. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Hisingen IK from getting a goal against them. Generoso Gau hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Nyman to strike the kick off in the second half. Einar Jernberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Gabino went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's Julián Álvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Jernberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernt Vennerkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Saul Osoitz made a huge save. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Tabby in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Arnaldo Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Jernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julián Álvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Jernberg having to interfere. Arnaldo Gabino struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Einar Jernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LegionArgentina. Einar Jernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Herrera in the 86th minute of play. Bernt Vennerkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Saul Osoitz made a huge save. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julián Álvarez in the 93rd minute of the match. Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julián Álvarez in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Elliot Högman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hisingen IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LegionArgentina the free kick. In the 95th minute, Elliot Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LegionArgentina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hisingen IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
