In the 5th match minute, MZKS Sharks Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Zakrzewski to maneuver through the defense. Stanislav Satinský took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iacob Ilinca charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Ilinca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iacob Ilinca kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Rafinha Brodel made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Lennart Blomquist. Rogerio Ceni came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Gao Gang. But to his dismay, Gao Gang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute Gao Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogerio Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogerio Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Piekarczyk in the 22nd minute of play. Rogerio Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Zakrzewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Stanislav Satinský proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomil Bielatowicz in the 40th minute of play forced Notts County BR's goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Paul Laime in the 90th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Robert Olchawa.
