The supporters of Stiinta-Univ. booed when Atletico de la Rosa CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liam-Nataniel de la Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Okan Koc got free with Marcell Yashin in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Okan Koc in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcell Yashin saved Atletico de la Rosa CF from getting behind. Aurel Panait could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Marcell Yashin made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Stiinta-Univ.'s Marcell Yashin threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shi Ming Sheng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th match minute, Atletico de la Rosa CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrico Barreneche to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Okan Koc to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Okan Koc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shi Ming Sheng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcell Yashin having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Atletico de la Rosa CF got a freekick which was hit by Artur Pikk. Marcell Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Ming Sheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico de la Rosa CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurel Panait was slow to take the kick. During this time Stiinta-Univ.'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Tomasz Gacek heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 84th minute, Șerban Rușanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Panait made a great header on Stiinta-Univ.'s corner, it was just that Atletico de la Rosa CF's Marcell Yashin managed to reach the ball for a save. Atletico de la Rosa CF's Marcell Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Urbano in the 91st minute of play.
