When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Wolfgang Goethe sped through Terapia Intensiva's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José Carlos Torres. In the 18th minute, Alberigo Sessa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Terapia Intensiva's José Carlos Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Merlot in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Don Merlot came free, but José Carlos Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Christian Sandalio hit a great ball. Alberigo Sessa took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos Torres. José Carlos Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 43 minutes into the match, Terapia Intensiva's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Sessa came free, but José Carlos Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Terapia Intensiva defense, Alberigo Sessa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Torres. The Terapia Intensiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Torres should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When Christian Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terapia Intensiva's protests and gave Christian Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. After 50 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Terapia Intensiva! Terapia Intensiva:s José Carlos Torres showed great skill when he stopped Alberigo Sessa:s penalty. Timo Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Fernanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Terapia Intensiva got a corner. SSV Ulm 1846's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Romo ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Carlos Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Merlot in the 58th minute. In the 59th of the match, Alberigo Sessa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but José Carlos Torres got in the way and made a wonderful save. Don Merlot had several of the Terapia Intensiva's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed José Carlos Torres as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Terapia Intensiva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SSV Ulm 1846's performance. The match ended with a win for SSV Ulm 1846.
