In the 45th minute Cosme Celio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Javiar made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Enrico Barreneche sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrico Barreneche made a kick off. Carlos Garcia made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mauricio Galtero immediately put the ball in play. In the 56th minute, Enrico Barreneche ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustaquio Javiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Zeca Gadda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Javiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Gadda in the 65th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeca Gadda in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eustaquio Javiar saved Baraja Española FC from getting behind. Benigno Indalecio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcell Yashin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Atletico de la Rosa CF's Zeca Gadda got a free kick in the 71st minute. Baraja Española FC made a substitution. Conrado Xabat replaced Cosme Celio. Baraja Española FC's Jeremias Lopez was substituted for Benigno Indalecio. In the 73rd minute, Zeca Gadda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcell Yashin made a huge save.
