Fanis Geronimidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Belotaurus FC's Leonardo Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Piarres in the 20th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Fanis Geronimidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Jacinto Piarres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Geronimidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Mazinho Barreto got control of the ball when Leonardo Gaúcho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Belotaurus FC's Rando Mäe to fire away a dangerous shot which Mazinho Barreto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fanis Geronimidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅响庭, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Doni Cordeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mazinho Barreto. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Manoel Mandrak was substituted for Jacinto Piarres. In the 42nd minute José Maria Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Geronimidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fanis Geronimidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Maria Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Fanis Geronimidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Meireles in the 67th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Leonardo Gaúcho sped through FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mazinho Barreto. José Maria Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fanis Geronimidis having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Erivaldo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fanis Geronimidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Maria Cunha in the 92nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulk Orange got free with Fanis Geronimidis in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 played minutes FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA got a freekick which was hit by 于飞鹰. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
