Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alf Gernberg got the match started through his kick off. Hieronim Raflewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Gernberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jack Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Iwan Zurawski sent off a good shot on target. Hieronim Raflewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Alf Gernberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hieronim Raflewski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Jack Westerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukasz Kociniewski in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grasshoppers Klucze's zone, Alf Gernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hieronim Raflewski came out of the goal and Alf Gernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Gernberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hieronim Raflewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Lukasz Kociniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukasz Kociniewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Westerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olle Drewitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Iwan Zurawski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grasshoppers Klucze and the Average Joes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Iwan Zurawski got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 44th minute, Staffan Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Grasshoppers Klucze's Lukasz Kociniewski got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwan Zurawski made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Grasshoppers Klucze's Miromir Rydz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jack Westerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 60th minute Alf Gernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronim Raflewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Grasshoppers Klucze's Hieronim Raflewski got control of the ball when Alf Gernberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jack Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Rydz in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Ström to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Lewicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Westerberg having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Bernard Lewicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Olle Drewitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tage Pååk hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Alf Gernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hieronim Raflewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The Average Joes players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Grasshoppers Klucze from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
