The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Iwan Zurawski put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Måns Bjursell. Måns Bjursell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Rydz in the 9th minute of play. If Iwan Zurawski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Bjursell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Rydz in the 17th minute of play. Joakim Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hieronim Raflewski made a huge save. Iwan Zurawski might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Måns Bjursell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwan Zurawski ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Grasshoppers Klucze getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lukasz Kociniewski hit a great ball. The supporters of Grasshoppers Klucze booed when Metalducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Askestät didn't get a good kick on the ball. Måns Bjursell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Bartocha in the 42nd minute of play. Miromir Rydz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iwan Zurawski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joakim Ahlström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Grasshoppers Klucze booed when Metalducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Erik Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metalducks's protests and gave Erik Nyman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Ove Gråberg to maneuver through the defense. Lukasz Kociniewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Metalducks's Måns Bjursell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Metalducks from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Zurawski came free, but Måns Bjursell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Metalducks getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Malte Askestät hit a great ball. Måns Bjursell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwan Zurawski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Iwan Zurawski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metalducks's Måns Bjursell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Askestät to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Ekenberg to maneuver through the defense. Måns Bjursell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Iwan Zurawski came free, but Måns Bjursell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iwan Zurawski in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Måns Bjursell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Metalducks getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joakim Ahlström hit a great ball. With a little luck, Metalducks's Måns Bjursell got control of the ball when Iwan Zurawski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grzegorz Walczyk's late challenge caught a Metalducks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Walczyk helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Grasshoppers Klucze getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Grzegorz Walczyk hit a great ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Miromir Rydz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Rydz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jurand Bartocha charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jurand Bartocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Grasshoppers Klucze got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Bartocha. Hieronim Raflewski came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Joakim Ahlström. But to his dismay, Joakim Ahlström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
