In the 17th minute Olle Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hisingen IK booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Hisingen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Drewitz came free, but Konrad Lilja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Staffan Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hisingen IK booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Bäckman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alf Gernberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Gernberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Westerberg having to interfere. Konrad Lilja was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olle Drewitz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 58 minute of play. Harry Molander hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Konrad Lilja made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Anton Kinnman sent off a good shot on target. Jack Westerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niclas Alebeck in the 84th minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Albert Bruse. In the 86th match minute, Hisingen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Molander to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Konrad Lilja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 96 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Rudolf Björnsson came free, but Jack Westerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Average Joes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hisingen IK throughout the match.
