A sloppy throw-in by Giuseppe Siqueira in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Jorge Lauro. 26 minutes into the match, Edu Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Rainerio. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 29th minute Remigio Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Edu Velloso put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abelardo Rainerio. Raimundo Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edu Velloso made the kick off in the second half. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Abelardo Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Alvarenga in the 51st minute of play. Abelardo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Nuno Leal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Rainerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Abelardo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Leal in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Jataiense Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evandro Novaes to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Edu Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Abelardo Rainerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Velloso in the 70th minute of play forced Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Abelardo Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Edu Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Abelardo Rainerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Velloso came free, but Abelardo Rainerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Remigio Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jataiense Futebol Clube had won after a very even match.
