Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl Åhlberg to make the kick off. Delfim Quintal hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Åhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Dante Lundberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Marinho in the 58th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Nelsinho Marinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Dante Lundberg however easily saved by the left post. In the 61st minute, Karl Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelsinho Marinho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Dante Lundberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Karl Åhlberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flodde CFC. Flodde CFC's Dante Lundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Flodde CFC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lundberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Flodde CFC's Dante Lundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Flodde CFC from getting a goal against them. Dante Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nelsinho Marinho in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lundberg saved Flodde CFC from getting behind. Flodde CFC's Karl Åhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Nelsinho Marinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lundberg. That made the score 0-6 after 92 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Palestra do Interior left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Flodde CFC.
