Joel Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Westerberg having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Joel Unax dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jack Westerberg, 1-0. After 13 played minutes Sαηgrε Azuɭ got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Obano. Abelardo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Drewitz in the 16th minute of the match. Abelardo Rainerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Emeterio in the 22nd minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Jack Westerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Kannemann's late challenge caught a Average Joes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 36th minute Orvar Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Remigio Emeterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Westerberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When William Backman fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Average Joes's protests and gave William Backman a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by William Backman. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Cosme Sustrai shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jack Westerberg but with some difficulty. In the 46th minute Remigio Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Westerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Orvar Blom made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Abelardo Rainerio got control of the ball when Staffan Bäckman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jack Westerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Emeterio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jack Westerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
