Harald Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Blom in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Arsenal FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sten Hök hit a great ball. Arsenal FC's Harald Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Blom in the 6th minute of play. Harald Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Blom in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Olle Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Mogren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Oskar Törnblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Westerberg having to interfere. Anton Kinnman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Harald Mogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. Average Joes's Jack Westerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Average Joes from getting a goal against them. Harald Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Drewitz in the 28th minute of play. Jack Westerberg made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Eddie Åberg sent off a good shot on target. Sten Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jack Westerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Average Joes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Tolsson to maneuver through the defense. Arsenal FC's Harald Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Blom in the 38th minute of play. Arsenal FC's Eddie Åberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play, Average Joes's Orvar Blom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harald Mogren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jack Vennerberg hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Per-Åke Albäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Westerberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Harald Mogren made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Albert Bruse sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Albäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Average Joes's Harald Mogren threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olle Drewitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Albert Bruse hit a great ball. With a little luck, Arsenal FC's Harald Mogren got control of the ball when Orvar Blom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Harald Mogren made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Orvar Blom sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Olle Drewitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harald Mogren. Olle Drewitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Average Joes's Orvar Blom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Harald Mogren. That made the score 0-3 after 87 minutes of play. Staffan Bäckman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Harald Mogren came out and tried to block the shot, but Staffan Bäckman slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 93rd minute. If Otto Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
