A collision led to Fotbal Club Vaslui getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Rywin came free, but Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Grasshoppers Klucze were awarded a corner. Bernard Lewicki went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Zurawski in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Lukasz Kociniewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grasshoppers Klucze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernard Lewicki kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Martin Aluncai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Bogdan Antonescu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen to strike the kick off in the second half. Iwo Kaczucha made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lukasz Kociniewski. Hieronim Raflewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen in the 60th minute of play. Jurand Bartocha kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Grasshoppers Klucze got a freekick which was hit by Jurand Bartocha. Hieronim Raflewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis-Philippe von Fallersleben in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Bogdan Antonescu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Zurawski in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Iwan Zurawski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Fotbal Club Vaslui's zone, Iwan Zurawski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen came out of the goal and Iwan Zurawski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Themistoklis Von Grimmelhausen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hieronim Raflewski was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Babäk Von Bischhoffshausen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwan Zurawski's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When Lukasz Kociniewski fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grasshoppers Klucze's protests and gave Lukasz Kociniewski a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Grasshoppers Klucze got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Kociniewski.
