Cosimo Grifoni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Konrad Lilja when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Michael Lidström hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Örtlund in the 14th minute of play forced Metalducks's goalkeeper Aleksander Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evren Düden kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Morgan Kilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metalducks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Kilberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurt Ersman hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hisingen IK's Konrad Lilja got control of the ball when Cosimo Grifoni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Morgan Kilberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konrad Lilja was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 33 minutes of play, Metalducks's Cosimo Grifoni made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrad Lilja was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Metalducks's Cosimo Grifoni in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hisingen IK's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Konrad Lilja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Morgan Kilberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Konrad Lilja, 5-0. The Hisingen IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1.

The wind increased when Cosimo Grifoni made the kick off in the second half. Hisingen IK's Konrad Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Kilberg in the 52nd minute of play. When Rudolf Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hisingen IK's protests and gave Rudolf Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. 63 minutes into the game, Morgan Kilberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-1. Konrad Lilja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Metalducks's Aron Nyberg got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Konrad Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Kilberg in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Lidström in the 69th minute of play forced Hisingen IK's goalkeeper Konrad Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Melin's late challenge caught a Metalducks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Björn Melin helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes Hisingen IK got a freekick which was hit by Björn Melin. Aron Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Aron Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Lilja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
