When Paulo Godoi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Godoi couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes Palestra do Interior's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Buğra Sefaaddin who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 13 in the game by Paulo Godoi from a close distance when the talented Gökay Özkoc managed to make a qualified save. Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's players were relieved. In the 14thth minute of the game Paulo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's Gökay Özkoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner. Niclas Danielsson went to the cornerflag to take it. Gökay Özkoc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Matorin in the 19th minute. The audience cheered when Moisés Matorin's long shot passed Gökay Özkoc's right side. It was 1-0, 19 minutes into the match. Paulo Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gökay Özkoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gökay Özkoc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Karfelt in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niclas Danielsson who took care of the corner kick. Palestra do Interior's Niclas Danielsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gökay Özkoc in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Allan Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karhan Payam in the 37th minute of the match. Moisés Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Karfelt in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Varela saved Palestra do Interior from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Paulo Godoi made the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Thanos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Paulo Godoi struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gökay Özkoc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestra do Interior. Gökay Özkoc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Godoi in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niclas Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestra do Interior's players had a chance to rest. When Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's goalie prevented a goal. Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago was substituted for Paulo Godoi. The throw-in from Ferhat Haşmetli in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Palestra do Interior's Reynaldo Sena. Gökay Özkoc came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago. But to his dismay, Vitório Lago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müfit Kalhan in the 90th minute of play. The Palestra do Interior fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Lago in the 97th minute of play forced Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü's goalkeeper Gökay Özkoc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Palestra do Interior fans cheered their team off the field, for while Koşuyolu Spor Kulübü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
