Martin Crețu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Giöck in the 32nd minute of play. Stiinta-Univ.'s attentive Aurel Panait managed to snatch the ball when Jan-Åke Holmberg made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Ernst Giöck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Aurel Panait took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rune Dahlquist to make any attempt to save it. Shi Ming Sheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rune Dahlquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Norberg in the 42nd minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

But to his dismay, Okan Koc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Stiinta-Univ. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
