In the 4th minute, Evren Düden made a precise shot to the right of Rune Dahlquist. FC Valkyria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rune Dahlquist came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Michael Lidström. But to his dismay, Michael Lidström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Kurt Norberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Helge Pettersson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Valkyria's protests and gave Helge Pettersson a yellow card for diving instead. Rune Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Grifoni in the 18th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Cosimo Grifoni notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Valkyria's Rune Dahlquist. Rune Dahlquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the game, Cosimo Grifoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rune Dahlquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Michael Lidström scored 0-5 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Dahlquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 29 minutes, Cosimo Grifoni made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. FC Valkyria's Rune Dahlquist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Metalducks's Aleksander Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Metalducks from getting a goal against them. Morgan Kilberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Ernst Giöck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Aleksander Engström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ernst Giöck came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Valkyria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Giöck couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurt Norberg made a kick off. The supporters of Metalducks booed when FC Valkyria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burak Tanyıldız didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksander Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Norberg in the 54th minute of the match. Rune Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Nyberg in the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kurt Norberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Engström was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Aleksander Engström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Norberg's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Ersin Olgun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metalducks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Valkyria the free kick. FC Valkyria made a substitution. Göran Bergqvist replaced Vilhelm Ekeberg. Ersin Olgun hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Aleksander Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Norberg in the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Grifoni got free with Rune Dahlquist in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Lidström to maneuver through the defense. Metalducks made a substitution. Greger Skröder replaced Morgan Kilberg. After 83 played minutes Metalducks got a freekick which was hit by Michael Lidström. 90 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Giöck came free, but Aleksander Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Valkyria were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Metalducks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gottfrid Pihlblad took the corner. Kurt Norberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aleksander Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
