When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Viktor Nyman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rune Dahlquist. Sören Malmgren hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Nyman in the 12th minute of play forced FC Valkyria's goalkeeper Rune Dahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rune Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Högman in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Hisingen IK's Elliot Högman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Einar Jernberg made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Kurt Norberg sent off a good shot on target. Einar Jernberg was a little too slow when Kurt Norberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Sören Malmgren was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 27th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 29 minutes, Jens-Erik Blomberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hisingen IK and the FC Valkyria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Valkyria booed when Hisingen IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Norberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Einar Jernberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Valkyria were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Hisingen IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gottfrid Pihlblad took the corner. The corner ended in Gottfrid Pihlblad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hisingen IK's Einar Jernberg did a great save. 36 minutes into the match, Elliot Högman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Dahlquist. FC Valkyria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elliot Högman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, Hisingen IK's Viktor Nyman got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, FC Valkyria's Ernst Giöck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Einar Jernberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marko Siöman hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the game, Viktor Nyman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rune Dahlquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The FC Valkyria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hisingen IK were winning 1-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viktor Nyman was the one to do the kick off. Rune Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Nyman came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rune Dahlquist could save by the left post. Einar Jernberg came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Valkyria's Kurt Norberg. But to his dismay, Kurt Norberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 61st minute Viktor Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Dahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Norberg in the 62nd minute of the match. Viktor Nyman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rune Dahlquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Viktor Nyman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 63rd minute. Einar Jernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Norberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elliot Högman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rune Dahlquist made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marko Siöman got free with Rune Dahlquist in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 81 minutes into the game, Åke Björk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Valkyria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hisingen IK the free kick. In the 81st match minute, FC Valkyria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Björk to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Valkyria's Rune Dahlquist got control of the ball when Viktor Nyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Valkyria's Gottfrid Pihlblad was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Einar Jernberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hisingen IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
