The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Inácio Amaral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rafal Adamski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. De Kasteelheren's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Cyryl Gleba scored to the left of an out of position Fokke Meijeringh, making the score, 1-1. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobiasz Brodzki in the 16th minute of play. Rafal Adamski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Fafinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inácio Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Amaral in the 26th minute of play forced FC Latające Siekiery's goalkeeper Rafal Adamski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute De Kasteelheren were awarded a corner. Hayden Hoebe went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led De Kasteelheren's Hayden Hoebe to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafal Adamski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fokke Meijeringh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobiasz Brodzki in the 30th minute. In the 30th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Fokke Meijeringh was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Beniamin Gardocki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 32 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, FC Latające Siekiery's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Amaral came free, but Rafal Adamski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fokke Meijeringh made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Beniamin Gardocki sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beniamin Gardocki. Beniamin Gardocki came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fokke Meijeringh could save by the left post. In the 42nd minute Ferdi Vorenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Amaral to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Ferdi Vorenkamp got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the De Kasteelheren defense, Cyryl Gleba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fokke Meijeringh. The De Kasteelheren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fokke Meijeringh should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyryl Gleba in the 65th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Latające Siekiery's Tobiasz Brodzki pulled a muscle in his back after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. FC Latające Siekiery's Fryderyk Sniegowski was substituted for Tobiasz Brodzki. FC Latające Siekiery's Barnaba Ryback was substituted for Dawid Oleszak. In the 76th minute, Dawid Oleszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Adamski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Rodenboog, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Amaral got free with Rafal Adamski in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Sniegowski in the 83rd minute of play. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Sniegowski in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Latające Siekiery fans cheered their team off the field, for while De Kasteelheren had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
