The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anios Karaoulanis in the 7th minute of play. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris De Raeve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anios Karaoulanis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Vanden Driessche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Estevão Reis in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sean Van Dijck saved Limburg United from getting behind. Joris De Raeve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Limburg United from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Estevão Reis in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Van Dijck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's attentive Olcay Orkun Gökekin managed to snatch the ball when Fabian Orellana made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. After 30 minutes of play, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Estevão Reis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sean Van Dijck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Estevão Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sean Van Dijck came out and tried to block the shot, but Estevão Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 33rd minute. Sean Van Dijck was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Estevão Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Estevão Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 42 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal looked a bit too open when Brend Vanden Driessche came free, but Egun Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ got a freekick which was hit by Boğaç Çelikoz. In the 46th minute of the game Pieter-Maarten Van Beets made a throw-in which Emanuel Coekelbergh played forward. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Terwenhout stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joris De Raeve who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Egun Zapico when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 52nd minute of the match Limburg United got a corner. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Orellana ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Brend Vanden Driessche almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico did a great save. Sean Van Dijck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Estevão Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Şeray İhtiyar struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sean Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan was substituted for Estevão Reis. Egun Zapico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Joris De Raeve showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 67 minute of play. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Egun Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Vanden Driessche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean Van Dijck was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sean Van Dijck. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sean Van Dijck should have stopped the shot. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Burak Orkan got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sean Van Dijck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan in the 89th minute of play. Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sean Van Dijck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Egun Zapico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Pieter-Maarten Van Beets made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Burak Orkan. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Limburg United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
