Gustavo Unai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute of the match Surahammar got a corner. BURITIS FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Toninho Lara ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Radamel Oakley heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 13 minutes into the match, Radamel Oakley notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai. Gustavo Unai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, BURITIS FC's Gil Paulista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carl Engström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 26 minutes in the game Rômulo de Azevedo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luiz Gustavo Goiano. The audience was convinced that Radamel Oakley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Unai was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 32nd minute, Radamel Oakley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Unai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel Oakley in the 35th minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Unai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Surahammar's Markus Wallman got a free kick in the 37th minute. Billy Fristedt kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Narciso Costa, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Markus Wallman charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Markus Wallman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes Surahammar got a freekick which was hit by Markus Wallman. In the 40th minute, Azmi Enver fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carl Engström, passed just outside the right post. In the 47th minute Radamel Oakley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Paulista in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radamel Oakley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Radamel Oakley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Unai. Radamel Oakley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Surahammar's Radamel Oakley slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustavo Unai. That made the score 1-6 after 59 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Pettersson in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Unai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gustavo Unai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar. In the 73rdth minute of the game André Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carl Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito da Mata in the 76th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BURITIS FC's zone, André Pettersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Unai came out of the goal and André Pettersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito da Mata in the 81st minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, André Pettersson notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of BURITIS FC's Gustavo Unai. Gustavo Unai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice moves André Pettersson could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Gustavo Unai however easily saved by the left post. Surahammar's Mark Brovall quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rômulo de Azevedo, made in the 91st minute of the game. With his leg Gustavo Unai managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Surahammar's André Pettersson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 95th minute Surahammar were awarded a corner. Virgil Van Dijk went to the cornerflag to take it. Surahammar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
