In the 4th minute Gil Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dave Quattrocchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gil Paulista in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dave Quattrocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséas Dante got free with Gustavo Unai in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Unai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martien Overmars in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Dante in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Unai saved BURITIS FC from getting behind. Oséas Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gustavo Unai made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metoděj Orság got free with Gustavo Unai in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Oséas Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Dave Quattrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Paulista in the 40th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metoděj Orság during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BURITIS FC booed when FC KRÁLOVO POLE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metoděj Orság didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes FC KRÁLOVO POLE got a freekick which was hit by Martien Overmars. FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Dave Quattrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito da Mata in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gil Paulista made a kick off. Gustavo Unai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséas Dante in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute BURITIS FC were awarded a corner. Narciso Costa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Narciso Costa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dave Quattrocchi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC KRÁLOVO POLE's Ronald Rohan got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Paulista got free with Dave Quattrocchi in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, FC KRÁLOVO POLE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gil Paulista fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dave Quattrocchi was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Gil Paulista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil Paulista really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With his leg Dave Quattrocchi managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when BURITIS FC's Gil Paulista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 77 in the game by Gil Paulista from a close distance when the talented Dave Quattrocchi managed to make a qualified save. FC KRÁLOVO POLE's players were relieved. Dave Quattrocchi made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gil Paulista sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in BURITIS FC's zone, Oséas Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Unai came out of the goal and Oséas Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, Azmi Enver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Enrique Baumer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Unai showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC KRÁLOVO POLE players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
