The audience thought a goal was coming when Toma Merlushkin got free with Sean Van Dijck in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toma Merlushkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Sean Van Dijck made a huge save. Sean Van Dijck made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Toma Merlushkin sent off a good shot on target. After 13 minutes, Joris De Raeve made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sean Van Dijck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toma Merlushkin in the 18th minute. When Aleandro Nesta fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Limburg United's protests and gave Aleandro Nesta a yellow card for diving instead. Aleandro Nesta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Estebano Lecanda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sean Van Dijck made a huge save. In the 22nd minute of the match El Pinar got a corner. Limburg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fredrik Holden ran over to the corner to take the kick. Estebano Lecanda took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sean Van Dijck. Sean Van Dijck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Elija Maiz came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Limburg United's Sean Van Dijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süreyya Uzer in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süreyya Uzer in the 35th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Sean Van Dijck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Süreyya Uzer came free, but Sean Van Dijck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Estebano Lecanda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sean Van Dijck. The goal made the score 2-1. El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estebano Lecanda got free with Sean Van Dijck in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fredrik Terwenhout stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng got control of the ball when Froilan Abar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Llin to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Coekelbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save El Pinar from getting a goal against them. Limburg United's Amador Azailla suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Mantzio Mena charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mantzio Mena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mantzio Mena hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Limburg United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabian Orellana in the 71st minute. The corner ended in Froilan Abar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng did a great save. Ni Tian Peng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fredrik Terwenhout in the 74th minute. Froilan Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Estebano Lecanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sean Van Dijck was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Ni Tian Peng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 85th minute of the match. Ni Tian Peng came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout. But to his dismay, Fredrik Terwenhout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
