Fokke Meijeringh came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout. But to his dismay, Fredrik Terwenhout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anthony Hillen might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Van Dijck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Hillen ran back to his position shaking his head. Harold Rodenboog struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Sean Van Dijck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Kasteelheren. Fokke Meijeringh made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Joris De Raeve sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris De Raeve got free with Fokke Meijeringh in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fokke Meijeringh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Inácio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Van Dijck having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Amaral in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sean Van Dijck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inácio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Van Dijck having to interfere. Fokke Meijeringh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brend Vanden Driessche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredrik Terwenhout took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fokke Meijeringh. Fokke Meijeringh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ferdi Vorenkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sean Van Dijck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joris De Raeve in the 41st minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fredrik Terwenhout made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Limburg United's Fredrik Terwenhout nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fokke Meijeringh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 53rd minute, Brend Vanden Driessche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute Jos Everts suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 58 minutes, Pieter-Maarten Van Beets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the De Kasteelheren players grew even worse after the yellow card. De Kasteelheren made a substitution. Radowit Rakowski replaced Jos Everts. In the 59th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter-Maarten Van Beets to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hayden Hoebe hit a great ball. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Fredrik Terwenhout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fokke Meijeringh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arif Ensar İsmet kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Inácio Amaral's late challenge caught a Limburg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inácio Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Inácio Amaral hit a great ball.
