Raik Ülke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alex Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kemalettin Taykut hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hüsmen Akbulut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Hellkvist in the 14th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Casper Tunander made a precise shot to the right of Hüsmen Akbulut. Yeşilköyspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Casper Tunander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hüsmen Akbulut. Yeşilköyspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casper Tunander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Yeşilköyspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hüsmen Akbulut should have stopped the shot. When Görkem Akbulut fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yeşilköyspor's protests and gave Görkem Akbulut a yellow card for diving instead. The Yeşilköyspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kronan were winning 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raik Ülke to make the kick off. Alex Björk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemalettin Taykut, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute Casper Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsmen Akbulut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsmen Akbulut was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Casper Tunander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Casper Tunander really showed his touch with that goal: 1-10. In the 95th minute, Aysan Burçhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Kronan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yeşilköyspor throughout the match.
