In the 2nd minute, Mattias Finnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Björk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The supporters of Average Joes booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Grelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Finnman scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Björk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Jo Blanchaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Björk. Kronan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Blanchaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. With a little luck, Kronan's Alex Björk got control of the ball when Hampus Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Johansson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Björk came out and tried to block the shot, but Hampus Johansson slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Finnman in the 22nd minute of play forced Kronan's goalkeeper Alex Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Casper Tunander came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kronan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casper Tunander couldn't finish the play. Hampus Johansson had several of the Kronan's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Alex Björk as he didn't even see the shot coming. Casper Tunander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linus Svanström having to make a save. In the 45th minute Jo Blanchaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Average Joes's Jo Blanchaert dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. Kronan's Robert Nyman was substituted for Torgny Grönlund. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Hampus Johansson made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Casper Tunander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kronan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Tunander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Average Joes's zone, Casper Tunander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Svanström came out of the goal and Casper Tunander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jarl Lindström hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, Average Joes's Hampus Johansson made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Björk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kronan's Alex Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Blanchaert in the 72nd minute of play. Johan Grelsson hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Average Joes's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
