Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Yala's Carolo Bizen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yala's goalkeeper Octavio Ferrer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Abechuco in the 8th minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Linus Svanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Ferrer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Finnman in the 10th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Average Joes's Jo Blanchaert got a free kick in the 12th minute. Hampus Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Ferrer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jo Blanchaert went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Yala's Octavio Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Johansson in the 25th minute of play. Hampus Johansson's late challenge caught a Yala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hampus Johansson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hampus Johansson hit a great ball. Carolo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Linus Svanström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hampus Johansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Esteve Abechuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Svanström having to interfere. Average Joes's Linus Svanström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Abechuco in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hampus Johansson got free with Octavio Ferrer in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yala's Octavio Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hampus Johansson in the 67th minute of play. If Hipolito Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Octavio Ferrer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jo Blanchaert in the 82nd minute. Carolo Bizen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Linus Svanström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yala. Yala's Octavio Ferrer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Yala from getting a goal against them. After 91 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Baumar. 93 minutes into the match, Yala's goalkeeper Octavio Ferrer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hampus Johansson. Linus Svanström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Bizen in the 95th minute of play. The Average Joes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Average Joes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
