With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casper Tunander in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Barbosa saved Vasco FC from getting behind. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vasco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torgny Grönlund was slow to take the kick. During this time Kronan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Kronan's Torgny Grönlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Wellington Barbosa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alex Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Motta in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Kronan's Wellington Barbosa threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Casper Tunander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vasco FC's Wellington Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Tunander in the 39th minute of play. Gil Motta struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Alex Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasco FC. Wellington Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Tunander, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Adalberto de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute of the match Johan Grelsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wellington Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wellington Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Wellington Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Tunander in the 85th minute of the match. Kronan's Casper Tunander got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casper Tunander in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Vasco FC defense, Casper Tunander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Barbosa. The Vasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Barbosa should have stopped the shot. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wellington Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
