The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Hüsmen Akbulut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Average Joes reached it. Semail Sözen hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hampus Johansson in the 18th minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Vecdi Bedel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Mattias Finnman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yeşilköyspor's Vecdi Bedel. Vecdi Bedel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vecdi Bedel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the match, Raik Ülke notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Average Joes's Linus Svanström. Linus Svanström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40thth minute of the game Raik Ülke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Average Joes's Linus Svanström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hampus Johansson took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vecdi Bedel. Vecdi Bedel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 47th minute Yeşilköyspor were awarded a corner. After taking down the ball on Yeşilköyspor's corner Semi Gümüşcüoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Linus Svanström quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raik Ülke to strike the kick off in the second half. Linus Svanström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemalettin Taykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Yeşilköyspor fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Yeşilköyspor's Raik Ülke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Raik Ülke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeşilköyspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Raik Ülke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Svanström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jo Blanchaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Vecdi Bedel made a huge save. Pål Askestät hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Görkem Akbulut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Linus Svanström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. When Yeşilköyspor's Raik Ülke in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mattias Finnman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 90 minutes into the game, Average Joes's Hampus Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vecdi Bedel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. 93 minutes into the match, Hampus Johansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vecdi Bedel, 4-5. Pål Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Average Joes played a much better game than Yeşilköyspor and deserved their victory. The Yeşilköyspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
