Sebastian Zawada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 minutes of play, IFK Gladdarna's Martin Sundin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Zawada was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sebastian Zawada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of IFK Gladdarna booed when THE FAVOURITES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Madajczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, David Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Gladdarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Arenstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Emil Trulsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Zawada was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Martin Sundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IFK Gladdarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Sebastian Zawada came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Gladdarna's Emil Trulsson. But to his dismay, Emil Trulsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 33rd minute, Eugeniusz Cichewski made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Zawada. THE FAVOURITES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. After 36 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Emil Trulsson. With an all-out effort, THE FAVOURITES's Kenny Holmberg threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Barna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st match minute, IFK Gladdarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conny Olsson to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Madajczyk came free, but Kenny Holmberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes IFK Gladdarna got a freekick which was hit by Martin Sundin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Madajczyk got free with Kenny Holmberg in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The THE FAVOURITES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. IFK Gladdarna were winning 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Trulsson to make the kick off. Eugeniusz Cichewski charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Barna in the 77th minute of play forced IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kenny Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jakob Koch succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 79th playminute. 81 minutes into the match, THE FAVOURITES's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Trulsson came free, but Sebastian Zawada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
