After some careless play in the BURITIS FC defense, Stefano Zijden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrianinho Arósio. The BURITIS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrianinho Arósio should have stopped the shot. In the 18th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Weken to maneuver through the defense. If Almir Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Valdomiro Simões came free, but Emil Walstra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Almir Trigo to make the kick off. Erwin Lanting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luisinho Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Adrianinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Lanting, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Adrianinho Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Werner Weken in the 90th minute. If Hans-Cees Mol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Adrianinho Arósio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
