An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Simões in the 4th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's Lisandro Etxepare sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Adrianinho Arósio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 14 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Osasun came free, but Adrianinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Almir Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edelmiro Osasun came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Celtic FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Osasun couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Eyague didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luisinho Tepedino went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. BURITIS FC's Adrianinho Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save BURITIS FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Salvadore got free with Adrianinho Arósio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Edelmiro Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Valdomiro Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BURITIS FC and the Celtic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Osasun in the 40th minute of play forced BURITIS FC's goalkeeper Adrianinho Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Osasun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrianinho Arósio. Edelmiro Osasun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute Almir Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afonso Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Osasun came free, but Adrianinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Admon kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The throw-in from Lorenzo Urtats in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BURITIS FC's Valdomiro Simões. A collision led to Celtic FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ramon Salvadore hit a great ball. Adrianinho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Eyague having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Etxepare came free, but Adrianinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Eyague made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Simões in the 85th minute. Adrianinho Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Osasun in the 88th minute of play. BURITIS FC's Adrianinho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Osasun in the 90th minute of play. If Wilton Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Wilton Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robustiano Eyague was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
