Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petr Kvíz in the 39th minute of the match. Angelo Quico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petr Kvíz went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Celtic FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miloslav Pícha made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miloslav Pícha in the 88th minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Angelo Quico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonín Štursa charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonín Štursa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonín Štursa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The SK Slavoj Vyšehrad supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SK Slavoj Vyšehrad would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
