Ivan Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobus Kruijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gusmão Álvares charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gusmão Álvares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gusmão Álvares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Dissels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Alfred Oevermans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Máximo Barcelos. 20 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gertjan Homan came free, but Ivan Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gertjan Homan in the 30th minute of play forced Cassandros Elite Team's goalkeeper Ivan Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Veiga came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by De Kasteelheren's Gertjan Homan. But to his dismay, Gertjan Homan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Cassandros Elite Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. De Kasteelheren were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koen Reinhard was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Serafim Sacadura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cassandros Elite Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Kasteelheren the free kick. Serafim Sacadura kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ivan Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koen Reinhard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassandros Elite Team's Ivan Veiga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivan Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koen Reinhard in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Barcelos in the 81st minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Alfred Oevermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Dissels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gertjan Homan scored 0-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cassandros Elite Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Kasteelheren were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
