The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Magdaleno came free, but Elroy Jongsma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of De Kasteelheren:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C. A. Flancito:s goal. In the 8th minute, Jonathan Magdaleno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elroy Jongsma was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 11 played minutes C. A. Flancito got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Tristan. After 13 minutes, Erwin Lanting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the C. A. Flancito players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C. A. Flancito booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwin Lanting didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Jonathan Magdaleno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elroy Jongsma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Felipe Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Wermans in the 16th minute of the match. Elroy Jongsma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Quintun in the 17th minute of play. Erwin Lanting hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. C. A. Flancito's Jonathan Magdaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's Nathan Wermans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felipe Gaitan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Adriaan Bulder got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felipe Gaitan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erwin Lanting lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 36th minute, one of De Kasteelheren:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Kasteelheren. Elroy Jongsma was a little too slow when Jonathan Magdaleno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. Elroy Jongsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Arsenio Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elroy Jongsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Gertjan Homan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, C. A. Flancito's Felipe Gaitan got control of the ball when Nathan Wermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th minute, Jonathan Magdaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when C. A. Flancito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes, De Kasteelheren's Adriaan Bulder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Gaitan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Kasteelheren reached it. After 58 played minutes De Kasteelheren got a freekick which was hit by Olof Rijaard. Gogo Tristan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Tristan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. Flancito getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gogo Tristan hit a great ball. De Kasteelheren's Olof Rijaard shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Felipe Gaitan but with some difficulty. Elroy Jongsma came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Flancito's Jonathan Magdaleno. But to his dismay, Jonathan Magdaleno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. C. A. Flancito's Felipe Gaitan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Flancito from getting a goal against them. Gertjan Homan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Gaitan having to interfere. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when C. A. Flancito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Tristan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elroy Jongsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Stephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Stephen scored 4-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elroy Jongsma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nathan Wermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Felipe Gaitan made a huge save. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when C. A. Flancito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as De Kasteelheren's Nathan Wermans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felipe Gaitan. That made the score 4-1 after 85 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C. A. Flancito had won after a very even match.
