German Cano hit a great ball. Marquês de Herval's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on Marquês de Herval's corner Pedro Luís da Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dario Wilhelm quite easily take care of the ball. In the 29th minute, Waldo Renteria made a precise shot to the right of Dida Taffarel. Marquês de Herval's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Waldo Renteria with Claude Joyner as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Amir Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. With a little luck, Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel got control of the ball when Amir Lee tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute Cascade Park West were awarded a corner. Dexter Benton went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Dexter Benton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Martins in the 66th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Paraibano in the 68th minute of play. Amir Lee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Marquês de Herval's German Cano got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Waldo Renteria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Marquês de Herval walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
