The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Owen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atahan Balon. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. Atahan Balon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Orlanda in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Galagan came free, but Atahan Balon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jesus Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asiz Soon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd match minute, Los Muchachos del 86 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Constancio to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Brion kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Atlético Montserrat's Jesus Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Brion in the 53rd minute of play. Robert Boruta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Atahan Balon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Brion came free, but Jesus Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Montserrat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Asiz Soon was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Robert Boruta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atahan Balon. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atahan Balon should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Boruta in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Atahan Balon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Atahan Balon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Boruta in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Salvador Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Los Muchachos del 86's Damian Honesto was substituted for Saverio Brion. Los Muchachos del 86's Szymon Szkaradek was substituted for Asiz Soon. Los Muchachos del 86's Fabio Bencivenni was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Salvador Orlanda hit a great ball. Atlético Montserrat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Segundo Belarmo in the 95th minute. The corner ended in Segundo Belarmo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Los Muchachos del 86's Atahan Balon did a great save. Atlético Montserrat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
