The audience was convinced that Yu Jian Tian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Taffarel was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. When Pedro Luís da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
