Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elpidio Francis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Venancio Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute, Elpidio Francis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Branislav Velchevski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toro Martínez went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Prosperi got free with Fernando Selatse in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 14 in the game by Elpidio Francis from a close distance when the talented Fernando Selatse managed to make a qualified save. Despidida AFC's players were relieved. Feliksas Fenichev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bonifacio Suarez made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Timoteo Basualdo. Elpidio Francis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez. But to his dismay, Toro Martínez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Miguel Prosperi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Toro Martínez made the kick off in the second half. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Arturo Arano. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 67th minute of play. Fernando Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Francis in the 72nd minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Kopacz in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Dalmu came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 76th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Dabrowski. After 82 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Dabrowski. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Czeslaw Kopacz came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Czeslaw Kopacz couldn't finish the play. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Venancio Havier took the corner. Venancio Havier made a great header on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner, it was just that Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse managed to reach the ball for a save. Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Elpidio Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fernando Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Despidida AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
