After taking down the ball on Playa Malvín's corner Sandu Mândrilă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristian Vladimirescu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristian Vladimirescu. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Biskupiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Stamen Tekeliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stamen Tekeliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Dziczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lech Biskupiak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After having played for 54 minutes, Sandu Mândrilă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Santo Damario scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto Teixeira, making the score, 1-3. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Niva Espellosa replaced Stamen Tekeliev. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Jabier Igual. Cristian Vladimirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niva Espellosa in the 69th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Zé Roberto Teixeira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Santo Damario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kubilay İmge in the 95th minute of play. Playa Malvín's attentive Vladimiro Marquez managed to snatch the ball when Reasco Das made a throw-in in the 97th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Riesgo Cero eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
