Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfredo Martins kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Fred Åkerström notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 6 minutes into the game, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 15 minutes into the game, Fred Åkerström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dida Taffarel. Fred Åkerström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Fred Åkerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Åkerström in the 18th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandu Mândrilă's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dida Taffarel firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pedro Luís da Rocha hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Åkerström in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dida Taffarel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sandu Mândrilă in the 28th minute. It was a well-played corner which Constantijn De Hond managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Gonzalo Castro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Pedro Luís da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Sesuldo Roque replaced Gonzalo Castro. Pedro Luís da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Playa Malvín booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Marquês de Herval from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Paraibano came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fred Åkerström to make the kick off. Playa Malvín's attentive Gamus Rocha managed to snatch the ball when Pedro Luís da Rocha made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Åkerström in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor Paraibano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Roberto Teixeira. That made the score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. Nestor Paraibano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Zé Roberto Teixeira made a huge save. Sandu Mândrilă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Taffarel having to make a save. Gao Xiang Guang's late challenge caught a Playa Malvín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gao Xiang Guang helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Gao Xiang Guang. The audience was convinced that Niva Espellosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Taffarel was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Martins's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niva Espellosa to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Niva Espellosa hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Nestor Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Niva Espellosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Luís da Rocha made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jair Bostan however managed to control. Zé Roberto Teixeira was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jair Bostan. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Playa Malvín's Fausto Jayaga got a free kick in the 94th minute. Pedro Luís da Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Roberto Teixeira. Playa Malvín's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Playa Malvín had won after a very even match.
